We are an intergenerational, bicultural, and bilingual Episcopal family worshiping, serving, and caring together in English and Spanish. We are located at the edge of a 55+ community in the Phoenix West Valley. We treasure our past and are hopeful in looking toward to our future.
We have challenges but are resilient, joyful, and eager to move forward to what the Holy Spirit and God has in store for us! We are committed to living out our faith by supporting those in need, both in our community and around the world.
Ministries: Outreach: Card Making
I was a naked and you gave me clothing:
The card making ministry meets the 2nd and 4th Mondays at 9am in Middleton Hall. We made well over 2,000 cards for Banner Boswell Hospital, about 500 for Hospice of the Valley, about 700 for Sunshine Homes and over 500 for the Phoenix Crisis Nursery and Sojourners'. The handmade cards are also used by our Cards & Calls Encouragement and our Thanksgiving Food Drive Bags. Individually written cards are sent to residents of Sunshine Homes, and cards are sold in Bargains Galore. We always have a good time and always need more crafters. Everything is in the form of a kit and you glue the pieces together.
