Ministries: Caring: Columbarium Ministry

The Columbarium Committee oversees our Columbarium in the narthex of the Chapel of the Resurrection across from the church. It contains 180 niches to hold the ashes of our loved ones. In fact, the name columbarium comes from the Latin name for dove, columba. It is comforting that the resting place of our loved ones derives from the word dove, which is one of the prominent symbols of our faith, connoting the Holy Spirit, forgiveness, and peace.

 

We hope that you will give serious consideration to this sacred option offered here at St. Christopher's for the perpetual care of you or your loved ones.
