We are an intergenerational, bicultural, and bilingual Episcopal family worshiping, serving, and caring together in English and Spanish. We are located at the edge of a 55+ community in the Phoenix West Valley. We treasure our past and are hopeful in looking toward to our future.
We have challenges but are resilient, joyful, and eager to move forward to what the Holy Spirit and God has in store for us! We are committed to living out our faith by supporting those in need, both in our community and around the world.
Events: Annual Events: Week of Christian Unity
We are one of 11 Sun City congregations that plans and carries out an annual Week of Prayer for Christian Unity each year. These daily noontime gatherings are at differing host-churches for a brief time of worship and a light lunch of soup and sandwiches for one week in January. An "in-kind" offering is received each day and the 2013 recipient was The Valley View Community Food Bank. The “in-kind” offering in 2014 went to Children First Academy which educates and cares for mainly homeless children in the Phoenix area. Requested items were oatmeal, peanut butter and jams, healthy snack bars, crackers or pretzels, dry pastas and sauces, canned soups, and tuna.
The theme chosen for 2015 is Jesus said to her, “Give Me A Drink.” (John 4: 7). Throughout 2015, join Christians everywhere in praying “that they may all be one” joining our prayer with that the Lord Jesus Christ.
