Coming Events for Fun and Fellowship @ St Christopher's
MEN’S
CLUB
The Men's Club will meet on the fourth Saturday, January 28, at 8:00 AM beginning with Morning Prayer, followed by a hearty breakfast and a time to get reacquainted and brought up to date on the adventures and welfare of each person present. We have a special speaker, Bob Martin, who will bring us Part 2 of the Civil War Saga.
Let's grow the Men's Club and be first in line to welcome all newcomers to St. Christopher's. 2012 is on the horizon with opportunities to grow the membership at St. Christopher's. Come one! Come all!
I'm excited!

Sonoran Sounds Women's Chorale & Reception - Feb 12

St.
Christophers is having a very special Valentine treat
Y!
The Sonoran Sounds Women's Chorale will be singing a special 3 pm
concert HERE on Sunday, Feb 12. A free will offering will be taken (so there is
no ticket charge). ¯
Sonoran Sounds is an auditioned group of talented women who treasure
music. The singers, the director and the accompanists are volunteers who
rehearse and perform for the love of music and to share their joy and commitment
with audiences throughout the northwest valley of Phoenix. The chorale is made
up of women who are individually experienced in different fields of music,
including musical theater, vocal jazz, pop and Gospel music, vocal and
instrumental solos and classical performance. These talents can be heard in the
interesting variety of their music. Many members will remember the fine
concert sung by this women's chorale at St. Christophers, a few years ago.
Two of our own "St. Christopher's family" sing in Sonoran Sounds: Diane Plein and Katy Young (+ flute) - as Jean Liversidge did, before her new job conflicted with rehearsals. Our St. Christopher's Choir is putting on a light appetizer reception after the concert, for the musicians & you, the audience. So, let's all turn out, to hear this wonderful chorale!

I believe we are starting our 22nd season in October of this outreach ministry. We take our singalong old time songs and hymns to care centers, day care centers and assisted living facilities. We invite anyone who might be interested in this to call me as we would surely love to have you join us.
